Public prosecutor confirms: new investigations in the Fernandes case

In the case of Collien Fernandes (44) and Christian Ulmen (50), investigations are now underway again in Germany. The Itzehoe public prosecutor’s office confirmed this when asked by BILD. Spokesman Peter Müller-Rakow: “Following the media publications, the Itzehoe public prosecutor’s office has resumed the investigation against unknown persons under Section 202a of the Criminal Code.”

This paragraph states: “Anyone who gains unauthorized access for himself or another person to data that is not intended for him and that is specially secured against unauthorized access, by overcoming the access security, will be punished with a prison sentence of up to three years or a fine.” According to BILD information, other criminal offenses are also being examined.

The actress Fernandes accuses her ex-husband Ulmen of “virtual rape” and reported him. It’s about fake profiles allegedly created by Ulmen in her name (“identity theft”) and the distribution of pornographic recordings and telephone sex via these accounts as well as allegations of physical and psychological violence.

The procedure was discontinued in 2025

In November 2024, Fernandes filed a complaint against unknown people. The case ended up with the Itzehoe public prosecutor’s office because Fernandes has a German registration address in a small town in the public prosecutor’s district near the outskirts of Hamburg. It was discontinued in June 2025. Prosecutors say they requested additional documents from Collien Fernandes but received no response. Therefore, she had no choice but to stop the investigation. Senior public prosecutor Peter Müller-Rakow from Itzehoe explains: “For us, the alleged injured party in Berlin wasn’t enough, that’s why we have the criminal police (in Schleswig-Holstein) instructed to request further documents. However, there was no response to this.”

“That’s not true,” says Collien Fernandes when asked by BILD. And in the “Tagesspiegel” she says: “I assumed that a police authority from Schleswig-Holstein would contact me. However, this did not happen.” Questions from Itzehoe “never reached them”. On Thursday evening, Fernandes appeared at a demo in Hamburg and addressed all the women very emotionally, but also directly “the perpetrators” skillful.
