Israel strikes have killed more than 700 people in Gaza despite October ceasefire

The Ministry of Health of the Gaza Strip, under the authority of the Islamist movement Hamas, denounced this Sunday that Israeli attacks have killed more than 700 people since the declaration in October last year of a virtually non-existent ceasefire.

Hamas has accused Israel of violating the cessation of hostilities on countless occasions while the Israeli Army has indicated that its attacks have been provoked by the activities of Palestinian militias against the agreement.

In its report this Sunday, the Ministry of Health raised the number of deaths since then to 702 after confirming, in the last 24 hours alone, another ten deaths and another 18 injuries.

With these figures, the Ministry of Health raises the total number of deaths in the Gaza war to 72,270 and those injured to 172,013 since October 2023.
