Iran has begun recruiting Janfada volunteers to repel the American invasion

Amid reports of an increase in US military presence in the Middle East, Iranian authorities have launched a campaign to recruit volunteers to repel a possible American invasion. The campaign was called “Janfada” (“Sacrifice of Life”).

The authorities began sending mass SMS messages calling “to be prepared to defend the country from the American-Zionist enemy.” The Wall Street Journal writes about this.

At the same time, residents of Isfahan report a sharp increase in security measures: military personnel in balaclavas have been spotted in this city and surrounding areas, and checkpoints have been set up.
