A survey in the USA reveals: the public = supports Israel and taking a firm line against Iran

Since the US and Israel’s coordinated attacks on Iran began, gasoline prices in the US have soared by an average of one dollar per gallon, due to the reduction of oil shipments from the Middle East. The surge severely damages the public’s trust in the president’s economic management: only 25% of respondents expressed support for the way Trump handles the cost of living – an issue that was at the center of his election campaign. In addition, a clear majority of 63% of Americans believe that the US economy is currently weak, and only 29% are satisfied with the president’s overall economic management.

The military operation in Iran is also exacting a public price from a president who promised upon taking office to avoid wars. According to the data, 61% of the public opposes US strikes in Iran, while only 35% support them. Almost half of the respondents (46%) believe that the war will make the US less safe in the long term.
