Trump demands that Iran’s “crazy bastards” open the “fucking Strait” of Hormuz by Tuesday

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, sent this Sunday his most forceful threat, riddled with insults, to the Iranian authorities since they blocked navigation in the Strait of Hormuz: either they open the passage next Tuesday or he will order a massive attack against Iranian infrastructure.

“Next Tuesday will be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day, all in one,” Trump declared before assuring that there will be “nothing like” the attack he is going to unleash if Tehran does not accept his ultimatum.

A warning that Trump has repeated in the strongest possible terms: “Open the fucking strait, you crazy bastards, or you’re going to live in hell. Wait and see. Praise Allah,” he concluded.

Shortly after, and in statements to Fox News, Trump declared his absolute exhaustion with the situation. “If they don’t reach a quick agreement, I’m considering blowing everything up and seizing the oil,” Trump said before expressing his confidence in the possibility of reaching an agreement ‘in extremis’ by Monday, even though the Iranian authorities have flatly refused from the beginning to directly accept its terms.

To make things easier, Trump assures that the Iranian negotiators with whom he is dealing, without giving names, “have received an amnesty” to protect them from new attacks by the United States such as those that destroyed the top leadership of the Iranian clerical establishment, represented by the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, at the beginning of the war.

THE MESSAGE OF AN “UNBALANCED”

Iran’s first response has come through its networks of embassies abroad, such as that of Pakistan, which has directly called on the US authorities to initiate an impeachment process against Trump for reasons of mental health.

“DJ Trump must be removed for his unbalanced behavior and his incompetence to hold high-ranking official positions,” the diplomatic mission said.

“The responsibility falls on Congress and those who elected it, as well as on the cabinet, which is committing treason by not invoking the 25th amendment” of the constitution that activates the impeachment process.

The opposition of the Democratic Party has not been left behind. The party’s Senate minority leader and de facto boss of the party, Chuck Schumer, has also openly questioned the president’s mental state.

“Happy Easter, America. While we go to church to celebrate with family and friends, the president of the United States is ranting like an unbalanced lunatic on social media,” Schumer said after recalling that Trump is threatening to commit war crimes by attacking the civilian infrastructure of an enemy country in times of conflict.

For Amnesty International Secretary General Agnès Callamard, Trump’s message is simply “repulsive.”

“I am running out of words to condemn this. Iranian civilians will be the first to suffer the destruction of their power plants and their bridges. They will be left without heat, without electricity or water, and without a way to escape, with all that this entails against their right to live,” he lamented.
