White House: ‘Decades of Iranian terror will not continue under President Trump’

The White House published a post on social network X with a harsh attack on Tehran: “Decades of Iranian terror will not continue under President Trump.”

The post included a photo of Donald Trump with the caption: “47 years of extortion, corruption and death will finally end.”

Earlier, White House press secretary Caroline Levitt said that the US President had familiarized himself with Pakistan’s proposal for a two-week truce between the US and Iran.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reported that he asked US President Donald Trump to extend the deadline for concluding a US-Iran agreement by two weeks. He also asked Iran, as a gesture of goodwill, to open the Strait of Hormuz for two weeks as diplomacy is carried out to reach an agreement between the United States and Tehran. In a post on social media, X Shahbaz Sharif called on the warring parties to observe a ceasefire for two weeks to “enable diplomatic efforts to lead to a final settlement of the conflict.”

Until now, Tehran has not accepted the terms of the ceasefire. But, as Reuters reports, citing a certain senior Iranian official, Tehran is currently “positively considering the proposal for a two-week ceasefire.” Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed published a similar statement.

Let us note that the Pakistani ceasefire proposal is comprehensive and applies to Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and other countries in the Middle East region.
