Houthi leader says Iran’s enemies were “completely defeated” and calls for massive march

The leader of the Houthis, Abdul Malik al Huti, assured this Thursday that Iran’s enemies were “completely defeated” and has called for a massive march for this Friday to celebrate the victory.

In a speech, the leader of the Yemeni rebels called for a massive demonstration to be held tomorrow “to thank God and celebrate the victory” of the Iranian people in the face of the offensive launched by the United States and Iran on February 28, halted by a two-week ceasefire pending a final agreement to end hostilities.

As he said, the objective of the march is “to celebrate the victory, reaffirm the firmness and congratulate the Iranian people, their leaders, the mujahideen of the axis and the Islamic nation for the great victory”, in a message in which he also had words for the “resistance” in Lebanon and Palestine.

“It will be of great importance, and I hope that, like last week, it will be a great and honorable march that expresses the faith of the Yemeni people, their deep and great identity, and that reflects their loyalty, their authentic values, their courage, their firmness and their struggle,” he stated about the new call planned in Sana’a, the capital controlled for a decade by the insurgent group.

Al Huti has stressed that the enemies, referring to Washington and Tel Aviv, attacked all aspects of life in Iran, as well as the military infrastructure, but were “completely defeated.” He has also disfigured the bombings against nuclear facilities and defended the retaliation taken by Tehran against the countries of the Persian Gulf.

Yemen’s rebels have sporadically participated in the war in Iran by launching missiles from their territory, mostly at Israeli soil.
