Trump makes new threat to Iran ahead of talks in Pakistan

US President Donald Trump renewed his threats against Iran this Friday (10), saying that the country “is only alive” to negotiate. The statement comes after the regime suggested that it could go back and suspend the sending of a delegation for talks in Pakistan this weekend.

“The Iranians don’t seem to realize that they have no tricks up their sleeves, other than a short-term extortion of the world through the use of international waterways. The only reason they are still alive today is to negotiate!”, wrote the Republican ruler on the Truth Social network.

Earlier, Trump had said in an interview with the New York Post that the US military is “loading ships with the best ammunition” in case peace talks fail.

Iran presented two conditions for negotiations to take place: a ceasefire in Lebanon and the release of frozen Iranian assets.

According to Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the US has not yet met these demands.
