The Prime Ministers of Slovakia and the Czech Republic congratulated Magyar

Fizo, who supported the current Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on important issues, noted that Slovakia is ready for close relations with the new Hungarian government.
Under Fizo’s leadership, Slovakia became a close ally of Hungary. both countries maintain cordial relations with Russia and oppose the European Union sanctions against Moscow.

Fizo noted that joint actions for the protection of energy interests with Hungary continue to be one of the government’s goals.

Meanwhile, the reaction of Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis is cautious. Babis, an ally of Orbán, wrote on the X platform that he respects the result of the election, “will always work constructively with the people who are chosen by the voters.”

Earlier, Babis called on Hungarians to vote for Orbán on social networks.

In contrast to him, the liberal Petr Pavel, the president of the Czech Republic, stated that democracy won in Hungary, stressing: “This is good news for Europe.”
