The Kremlin published last night (Wednesday) a denial of reports that the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, is staying in a bunker, and that the person who appears in his name before the Russian public is a duplicate – Al Jazeera reported.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said during a press conference: “You must have heard that there are a lot of Putin doubles that appear while he is in the bunker… Another lie.”
“You see for yourselves what our president is like: he has always been, and is now, mega-active – those who work next to him can hardly keep up with him. One can only envy his energy. One can only wish for his health, God willing. Of course, he is not sitting in any bunker . That’s also a lie,” added Paskov.
