Saturday night. As so often, Gerardina Corsano (46) and her husband Angelo Meninno (52) went for a pizza. They stopped at a restaurant in the Italian community of Ariano Irpino, which has a population of 20,000.
Three days later Gerardina was dead! She may have died from food poisoning caused by the hot sauce on the pizza. Her husband also ate them – he is in the hospital.
Death drama after eating pizza
At first everything seemed like a successful evening. But a few hours after eating pizza, Gerardina and Angelo began to have stomach pains, reports the Italian newspaper “Corriere della Sera”.
In the following days the symptoms got worse and worse! The couple went to the emergency room twice and was sent home twice. Apparently a fatal mistake.
After three days, both were hospitalized with severe cramps. A few hours later, Geradina died and her husband was saved by doctors.
Italian investigators suspect that the two poisoned themselves with Botox. It is the most powerful natural poison in the world!
Autopsy ordered
An autopsy is expected to take place this weekend to determine whether Gerardina really died from the poison. The restaurant points out that no other guests felt ill after the evening in question.
