“I don’t have morphine to give a five-year-old boy who broke his arm,” she cried. “Hamas looted everything, the world must know that, they are taking over the entire hospital, they took all the medicine and the fuel for themselves. Whoever hears me, please run away from here,” she said.
As you may recall, a group of doctors expressed their protest against Hamas’s cynical use of hospitals and in particular the large Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip. In an official letter, they wrote: “As soon as murderous terrorist organizations built murder and terror headquarters as an integral part of the hospitals – they turned the hospitals into a legitimate target.”
In the meantime, an Israeli defense official said earlier that the army is not firing on Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza and it is not under siege, but clashes are taking place between Israeli soldiers and Hamas terrorists around the hospital, according to him. The official added that the eastern side of Shifa is open to anyone who wants to evacuate safely.
