The photographs of civilians murdered in Bucha are described by the US as a “blow in the stomach.”

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has accused Russian forces of cruelty during the invasion of Ukraine, and he has expressed dismay at photographs of dead citizens in villages near Kiev, from which Russia recently withdrew. In recent days, it has concentrated its onslaught in the country’s east.

According to CNN, Blinken characterized the photos of bodies he had seen in the city of Bucha as “a punch in the stomach.”

“We had indicated that Russia may commit atrocities and that Russia had committed war crimes throughout this aggression,” Blinken said. “We’re working to document them, offer information, and transmit it to the appropriate organizations so that they can collect all of the data,” he explained.

The United States Secretary of State has requested that the international community be vigilant. “The most important thing is that we cannot anesthetize ourselves. This situation cannot be normalized “he exclaimed.

“This is the truth of what happens every day as Russia’s violence persists, and that is why it must stop,” he continued.
