Acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri-Kani, making his first trip abroad since taking office, arrived in Damascus and held talks with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
“The subject of discussion was bilateral relations, the situation in occupied Palestine, issues of regional and world politics of mutual interest,” SANA reported.
According to the report, Assad emphasized his commitment to resistance, adding that the increase in violence by the “occupiers” indicates the failure of their policies.
