The United States announces 377 million euros in humanitarian aid for the Palestinians

The United States Government announced this Tuesday a package of 404 million dollars (about 377 million euros) in humanitarian aid for Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and other areas of the region, coinciding with the conference organized this Tuesday in Jordan to increase this type of assistance.

The head of North American diplomacy has also discussed possible reforms within the Palestinian Authority with Mustafa and has stressed that Washington “supports the establishment of an independent Palestinian State with security guarantees for Israel”, although the Biden Administration is not considering recognizing to Palestine until there are negotiations between the parties.
