Lebanese home strike: Hezbollah chief of staff was targeted

Lebanese sources report that the target of the Israeli Air Force attack on the night of June 14 was Hezbollah Chief of Staff Hisham Safi al-Din.

According to preliminary data, he was not in the apartment at the time of the attack, and he managed to survive.

Although some Arab media are reporting that Hisham Safi ad-Din may have been eliminated.

The Hezbollah-owned Lebanese TV channel Al-Manar reports that one person was killed and at least 14 were wounded, including children, as a result of an IDF strike on a house in the village of Janata. According to local media reports, the missile was launched from the sea.

On the night of June 14, Lebanese media reported that the IDF air force struck a house in the village of Janata (east of Tyre, southern Lebanon, about 20 km from the border with Israel). The Al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that the three-story building was completely destroyed.

According to the Saudi television channel Al-Arabiya, the target was “a Hezbollah general in command of the southern district.”

Hezbollah said the attack killed a woman, paramedic Sali Skaiki.

Al-Hadat TV reported that the house that was hit by the IDF was rented by Hezbollah.
