Nasrallah: “Hezbollah's plan to invade Galilee is still active”

On June 19, the Secretary General of the Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, spoke at a ceremony held in memory of the organization’s high-ranking commander, Talib Sami Abdullah (“Hajja Abu Talib”), who was eliminated by Israel on the night of June 12.

Hassan Nasrallah called the deceased commander of the An-Nasr unit a great martyr. “But for us it is enough that he died as a martyr, leaving behind the Mujahideen who will continue his work.”

The leader of the terrorist organization said that the opening of another front at the initiative of Hezbollah is exhausting Israel. “According to Israeli leaders, there are more than 10 thousand soldiers on the border with Lebanon. These forces would be enough to defeat the Gaza Strip.”

Nasrallah said that “the plan to invade Galilee is still on the agenda in case of further escalation of the conflict.”

The Hezbollah leader said the fighting on the northern border had not only “exhausted the enemy” but had also forced tens of thousands of Israelis to flee their homes, creating what he called the first “security belt” in northern Israel.

In addition, Hassan Nasrallah said that Hezbollah has established its own production of weapons, which have already been tested in combat conditions.

Nasrallah warned the Cypriot government that if it opened airports and military bases to Israel during the war, Cyprus would be drawn into the war.

Nasrallah also said: “If Israel wants Hezbollah, Yemen and Iraq to stop fighting, it must end the war in the Gaza Strip.”
