The video was posted by Blair after Mr. Trump and President Joe Biden ended the first direct debate of the 2024 US presidential election season. Trump’s aides were very excited about the former president’s performance in 90 minutes. debate.

Chris LaCivita, a senior adviser to Mr Trump, called it “the most overwhelming victory in the history of presidential debates” and mocked Mr Biden’s campaign for explaining that the president’s cough was due to a cold. “I loved the way they explained it. It was classic,” LaCivita said.

LaCivita said the debate has “energized” Trump’s upcoming campaign stop in Virginia, a state he has lost twice in previous elections. The Trump campaign is also targeting Minnesota, a state that has also lost to him twice. “We’re on the offensive,” LaCivita said.

Meanwhile, US Vice President Kamala Harris expressed dissatisfaction with the criticism aimed at President Biden after the debate, but she said it was “part of the game” and that American voters would make their choice on November election day, not during the debate.

“One person on stage today who has the support of his vice president is Joe Biden. I don’t see Mike Pence anywhere,” Harris said, referring to Trump’s vice president.

The debate between President Biden, a Democrat, and his Republican opponent Trump, was hosted by CNN in Atlanta, Georgia. This is the first time Mr. Biden, 81, and Mr. Trump, 78, have faced off directly in this year’s race for the White House.

The two candidates debated on many issues such as the economy, abortion rights, the Ukraine conflict and the Gaza war. President Biden seemed to have difficulty in the first part of the debate. He had a hoarse voice, coughed many times, cleared his throat and sometimes slurred his words. Mr. Biden’s campaign said he had a cold in recent days.
