In connection with the Iranian presidential elections, three polling stations were opened in Armenia

Voting for the extraordinary presidential elections has started in Iran today.

According to the Embassy of Iran in Armenia, three polling stations were opened in Armenia from 8 o’clock in the morning. one is in the embassy, ​​the other is in the Blue Mosque, and the third is mobile, intended for people with locomotor problems and those in detention centers.

At the moment, more than 100 citizens have voted at the embassy.

The ambassador who participated in the voting said that they are voting for a strong and developed Iran.

According to him, the embassy will be open for voting today until 19:00, if necessary, that time will be extended.

Four candidates are competing for the post of president: reformist lawmaker Masoud Pezeshkian, former minister of interior and justice, hardliner Mustafa Pourmohamad, former negotiator on nuclear issues and Khamenei’s representative in the Supreme National Security Council, Sayyid Jalil, and parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

The election will decide who will replace Ebrahim Raisi, who died in a helicopter crash on May 19, as president.
