At the meeting with Borel, Mirzoyan emphasized the need to conclude a peace treaty

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, at the meeting with the Vice President of the European Commission, Josep Borel, emphasized the necessity of concluding a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the importance of the valuable approaches of partners interested in real stability in the region.

Mirzoyan and Borel exchanged ideas on issues related to international and regional security. The general negative consequences of the practice of resolving problems through the use of force and the need to respect the fundamental principles of international law were emphasized.

They discussed agenda issues of RA-EU partnership, steps aimed at significant deepening of relations and positive perspectives. It was emphasized the importance of strengthening the resistance of RA through the effective use of existing mechanisms, starting a dialogue on the liberalization of visas.
