Osama Hamda, an official of the “Hamas” group recognized as a terrorist in the USA and the EU, stated that there is no progress in the ceasefire negotiations with Israel.

The radical organization is “ready to respond positively” to any proposed ceasefire that would end the war, he told a news conference in Beirut.

Efforts by Arab mediators, supported by the United States, have so far failed. both sides blame each other for the impasse. Hamas has stipulated that any deal must end the war and lead to a full Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, while Israel says it will only agree to a temporary ceasefire until the extremist group, which has ruled Gaza since 2007, is uprooted. :
