The dead body of a man was found in the Jarun lake on Sunday morning, and the autopsy has yet to determine whether the death occurred as a result of an accident or a criminal act, according to the Zagreb Police Department.
On Sunday at 10:35 a.m., the body of a 42-year-old man was found on Jarun in Zagreb, in Mali Jezera. At the scene of the incident, in addition to the police officers who secured the scene and conducted an investigation, the intervention of firefighters was also necessary.
After the intervention, the body was transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Zagreb, where the cause of death was determined.
So far, there are no signs that would indicate that the death occurred as a result of a criminal act, the Zagreb police report.
After the autopsy, more information will be known.
