The government of Bolivia summoned the ambassador of Argentina in PeaceMarcelo Massoni, to express a “strong rejection” of the statements made by the Office of the President of the Republic of Argentina, Javier Mileywho repudiated “the false accusation of a coup d’état made” by the Administration of Luis Arce.

The Minister of the Presidency of Bolivia, Maria Nela Prada,who also performs the duties of interim chancellor on this day, reported in a press conference that he also sent for the ambassador of Bolivia in Argentina, Ramiro Tapia, “to be present at the Government headquarters” Bolivian.

The Office of the President of the Argentina republic This Sunday night he published a statement in which he repudiated “the false accusation of a coup d’état made by the Government” of Bolivia.

In the note he also accused the president’s government Luis Arce to control the three branches of government and have more than “200 political prisoners,” including the former interim president Jeanine Anez and the opposition governor Luis Fernando Camacho,both prosecuted for the political and social crisis of 2019.

Likewise, according to the Milei Government, Bolivian democracy “Is in danger” but not for the ““attempted military coup”but because “Socialist governments lead to dictatorships” and compared the Andean country with “Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, North Korea”.

Earlier, the Arce Government rejected “strongly condemns the unfriendly and reckless statements made by the Office of the President of the Argentinian republic on the military insurrection last Wednesday that the Bolivian president described as a “Coup attempt”.

Last Wednesday a group of heavily armed soldiers with tanks led by the dismissed military chief Juan José Zuñiga carried out an armed uprising against the headquarters of the Government of Luis ArceHours later the then commander retreated and was imprisoned.

Among those who have questioned the veracity of the statements of Arce over a “Coup attempt”are the former president and leader of the ruling Movement towards Socialisms (BUT), Evo Morales (2006-2019), who pointed out that the Government faked a “self-coup” and called “liar” Luis Arce.
