Media: Ship with advisers and missile equipment for Houthis goes missing in Red Sea

According to the Iranian opposition website Iran International, citing the United Arab Emirates-based news resource Al-Ain News, a ship carrying military advisers and missile components destined for the Houthis has disappeared in the Red Sea.

The ship was due to arrive in the Houthi-controlled Yemeni port of Hodeida on July 12, but has disappeared without a trace. The Houthis are searching with speedboats and drones, but the equipment is insufficient.

The publication does not specify whether it is Iranian missile components and advisers, but the Islamic Republic has been sending weapons and advisers to the Houthis for a decade. Yemen is confident that the US is behind the ship’s disappearance.
