Netanyahu paints pro-Palestinian protesters as ‘Iran’s useful idiots’ during Capitol speech: ‘Shame on you’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday slammed pro-Palestinian protesters gathered outside the Capitol in his speech to the US Congress, describing them as “Iran’s useful idiots”.

According to Netanyahu, many protesters have no idea what they are talking about. “Some are holding up signs saying ‘Gays for Gaza.’ They might as well be holding up signs saying ‘Chickens for KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken),” he mocked.

According to the Israeli Prime Minister, the protesters are choosing to side with “evil, rapists and murderers” and should “be ashamed”. “There is a difference between those who target terrorists and those who target civilians”, the Israeli Prime Minister added, wanting to make a distinction between Israel and Hamas. “For Israel, every civilian death is a tragedy, for Hamas it is a strategy.

Thousands of demonstrators gathered outside the Capitol, where Netanyahu delivered his speech, protesting his arrival and demanding a ceasefire in Gaza after more than nine months of war.
