Russia Adds Navalny’s Associates to ‘Extremist’ List Six Months After Politician’s Death

On August 16, Rosfinmonitoring updated the list of “terrorists and extremists,” Meduza reports. The list includes, in particular:

Maria Pevchikh, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK);

Olga Mikhailova, Alexei Navalny’s lawyer;

Alexander Fedolov, lawyer of Alexei Navalny;

Kira Yarmysh, press secretary of Yulia Navalnaya (formerly press secretary of Alexei Navalny);

Dmitry Nizovtsev, host of the YouTube channel “Popular Politics”;

Olga Komleva, activist arrested in the “FBK case”;

Alexey Malyarevsky, sentenced to seven years for donating to the FBK and posting leaflets;

Nina Volokhonskaya, producer of the YouTube channel “Navalny LIVE”;

Antonina Favorskaya (Kravtsova), a journalist who covered the activities of Alexei Navalny, has been arrested in connection with the case of “participation in the FBK.”

All of them were listed as “involved in extremist activity.” There is no asterisk next to their names.

August 16 marks six months since the murder of Alexei Navalny in a Russian penal colony.
