As a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike in the Kursk region, the bridge over the Seim River was destroyed

A bridge across the Seim River in the Kursk region was destroyed as a result of a strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the BBC reports, citing the Telegram channel of the adviser to the acting governor of the region, Roman Alekhine.

“Kursk region. Glushkovo. The bridge across the Seim River has been destroyed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The enemy is also striking the bridge in the village of Zvannoye in the Glushkovsky district. The enemy has begun implementing a plan to seize a section of the Glushkovsky district along the Seim River,” Alekhine wrote in a telegram.

As Russian media and Telegram channels write, as a result of the destruction of the bridge, more than 20 settlements were cut off – their residents can now only be evacuated by water (the authorities announced the evacuation of residents of the Glushkovsky district the day before).

It is also noted that the bridge over the Seim was the main supply route for Russian troops in the area.
