Hezbollah strikes on Israel: an “expected response”, the beginning of other attacks?

Israel claims to have foiled a large-scale Hezbollah attack this Sunday morning, by carrying out multiple preemptive strikes in Lebanon. But the Shiite movement, which had promised to retaliate after the death of its leader at the end of July, claims for its part the “success” of this attack lasting a few hours, saying it launched “a large number of drones” and fired “more than 320” Katyusha rockets at 11 Israeli military bases. David Rigoulet-Roze, associate researcher at the Institute of International and Strategic Relations (IRIS) and editor-in-chief of the journal Orients Stratégiques, looks back on this lightning attack for Le Parisien.
