35 finalists in the Cultural Tourism Ambassador contest

Candidates representing 20 universities and colleges nationwide were selected for the final round of the Cultural Tourism Ambassador contest on September 21.

The First, Second and Encouragement prizes were awarded to talented young students who have extensive knowledge of culture and tourism, as well as the ability to convey messages about sustainable tourism and unique Vietnamese culture to tourists.

In the final round of “Cultural Tourism Ambassador” this year with the theme “Heritage Tourism”, the excellent candidates will compete in many competitions: cultural tourism message, following the cultural tourism trend and cultural tourism ambassador. The judges are leading experts in the fields of culture, tourism and communication, and will bring the most in-depth and objective assessments.

The contest is part of the Cultural and Tourism Talent Incubator Project 2024 – 2034, initiated and sponsored by Tam Chuc Tourism Services Company Limited. The project aims to nurture young talents in the fields of culture and tourism, who are students from universities and colleges across the country. The Cultural and Tourism Talent Incubator not only provides a solid foundation of knowledge, in-depth understanding of culture and history; trains skills and maximizes potential, strengths, and creativity; also creates an environment for experience, exchange, and connection between students and organizations, businesses, and experts.

After the registration period, the project selected nearly 1,000 students studying culture and tourism from 60 colleges and universities to participate in the study program with 20 different topics.

These topics are taught by prestigious experts and researchers with high expertise at home and abroad. Through the learning and evaluation process, the project selected 80 students who completed the harvest assignment excellently to participate in the interview round, from which the 35 most outstanding faces, representing 20 schools, continued to be selected to enter the final round.

The representative of the organizing committee assessed that the contest is not only a playground for young people who are passionate about culture and tourism, but also an opportunity to introduce and promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam. Thereby, spreading cultural values ​​and promoting the sustainable development of Vietnam tourism.

The project aims to train and develop high-quality human resources in the tourism and culture industry. Through training activities, exchanges and practical experiences, the project hopes to contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam tourism.
