Saigontourist Group connects and develops tourism in 168 wards and communes of Ho Chi Minh City

Saigontourist Group met with leaders of 168 wards and communes in Ho Chi Minh City on December 6, launching a cooperation strategy to develop green, sustainable tourism for the period 2025–2030.

The event taking place at Rex Saigon Hotel, on the morning of December 6, is the launch of the unit’s tourism development strategy, focusing on cooperation with local authorities and local communities.

The program had about 300 guests including representatives of the City Party Committee, Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, departments and member businesses of Saigontourist Group. At the event, the unit shared development-oriented information and emphasized the role of coordination between businesses, governments and people to promote sustainable tourism.

According to the unit, the tripartite linkage model is considered the foundation to ensure harmony between economic goals, environmental conservation and improving the quality of life of the community. Through the event, Saigontourist Group creates a long-term connection channel and increases coordination efficiency between parties in deploying products, services and tourism activities in the area.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Chairwoman of the Board of Members of Saigontourist Group, said the unit will pursue the strategy of “green and sustainable tourism” in the coming period. She emphasized that cooperation with 168 wards and communes and partners will help spread the image of civilized and safe tourism, while preserving local identity.

“To reach the world, Vietnamese tourism needs to originate from deep connections and strong companionship. This event is a strong affirmation of the ‘golden triangle’ strategy that we steadfastly pursue,” Ms. Anh Hoa affirmed.

In addition, coordinating with local authorities helps businesses better understand community needs, infrastructure status and specific tourism products in each area. This is also the basis for building solutions to support community tourism, develop new destinations and improve service quality in Ho Chi Minh City.

The meeting event is considered a milestone in the restructuring phase of Saigontourist Group, opening up a more comprehensive cooperation program between businesses and the local government system. Saigontourist Group said it will continue to accompany the city in the direction of making Ho Chi Minh City a leading destination in Asia.
