5 men were arrested who were on their way to the massacre area in Sydney

Photographs published on social networks show the activity of anti-terrorist police officers, arresting and handcuffing several men, near the city of Liverpool. According to the suspicion, the detainees were on their way to the area of ​​the attack. A police statement read: “A police operation is underway in George Street, Liverpool. According to local media, the New South Wales Police received intelligence that the people planned to arrive at Bondi Beach after traveling from Melbourne. Currently there is no indication that the arrests were made in direct connection to the investigation of the massacre.
