A 13-year-old tried to infiltrate a flight in Israel and fly to the USA

A 13-year-old boy, who previously tried to enter the airport, was caught last night in the terminal before entering the inspection areas. Following the incident, vigilance and tightening measures were taken, and surveillance continues in accordance with procedures.

The deputy commander on duty noticed that the boy was behaving in an unusual way, approached him and questioned him. During the investigation, it emerged that this was the same 13-year-old who tried to infiltrate a few weeks ago. “When the incident was identified, all the relevant parties were immediately informed, including the airlines, with an emphasis on flights to the USA,” the airport authority said.

Last October, the boy managed to board a flight scheduled to take off to New York without a plane ticket and without a passport, in an attempt to visit his father who lives in the USA. According to the initial investigation, the young man boarded the plane after going through the entire security procedure in Israel.

According to estimates, he stuck with other people all the way and managed to get to boarding the plane, while going through several security circuits such as the check-in stations, security check, passport stamping (at the automatic stations) and validation of the boarding pass at the gate.

According to the details, the plane had already made its way towards the runway when the flight attendants noticed that something was wrong with the child, and after a short questioning they realized that he had boarded without a ticket. At that moment the plane returned to the terminal and the passenger was taken down for further investigation.
