Bullets from a gun were found in a walking stick of a passenger in Netav

A serious incident in Israel: A man tried to put a gun on the plane yesterday (Tuesday). The passenger, who arrived alone with a disabled card and a walking stick, tried to hide bullets inside the stick and a gun barrel in his suitcase.

During the security check, the bullets were found in the passenger’s walking stick and then disassembled parts of a gun were also found. The passenger was immediately arrested and the serious incident is currently under investigation.

Just last week, Israel announced that the boarding pass check would be carried out at the initial check stage, after an 18-year-old passenger managed to pass through several security circles and board a flight to Vienna without a ticket. He was only stopped when he landed in the Austrian capital.

Only about two months ago, the Daily El Al team noticed a 13-year-old boy who managed to board a flight scheduled to take off to New York, without a plane ticket and without a passport, in order to visit his father.
