Israeli tourists received an alert on their phones

While the whole country is on edge and waiting to find out if there will be an attack on Iran or not, and foreign airlines have even started preparing to suspend flights, Israelis who are currently staying in Amsterdam say they received a stressful alert on their phones today.

Yuval, who is now in the city, tells Mako that following a general power outage, everyone in Amsterdam received an alert like that of the Home Command, reporting the incident. In general, this is a normal procedure in the city, but due to the pressure that still exists in Israel, it caused everyone to slow down and try to understand what it was about.

“We received 2 alerts for each device,” he says. “One that started with a power outage and then when it ended. Each one sounded like the command of the rear, with the scary sound. My wife became anxious, even so she is under pressure to make it back. Only after we entered the news on a local website did we realize that this was something normal.”
