Michelin honored 42 Vietnamese restaurants

Michelin today announced 42 “delicious, affordable” Bid Gourmand 2024 restaurants in Vietnam, including 18 representatives in Hanoi and 24 in Ho Chi Minh City.

42 restaurants are included in the Bid Gourmand 2024 honored by the Michelin Guide due to “good quality food at affordable prices”, according to Michelin appraisers. Last year, Vietnam had 29 restaurants receiving this award.

In 2023, for the first time Michelin comes to Vietnam to evaluate and award stars to restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. The first four Vietnamese restaurants to be awarded a Michelin star include Anan Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City; Gia, Hibana by Koki and Tam Vi in Hanoi.

“Star” is the rating classification system of Michelin Guide, the most prestigious culinary ranking organization in the world.
