Commenting on the tourism situation in the first 6 months of the year, the Department of Tourism said the industry has “recovered strongly” when welcoming more than 8.8 million international visitors and 66.5 million domestic visitors, both up compared to 2023. Total tourism revenue is estimated at VND436,500 billion, up 1.3 times over the same period last year.
