New Explosions in Beirut: Lebanese Troops Destroy Hezbollah Radios and Pagers

The Lebanese publication This is Lebanon reported that the explosions heard this evening in many areas of Beirut were the result of the military destroying communication devices dropped by Hezbollah militants.

On September 18, at around 5:00 p.m., a second wave of technological attacks swept across Lebanon. Various radio devices exploded, including portable PTT (Push-To-Talk) radios. According to the Ministry of Health, 14 people were killed and 450 were injured.

Lebanese sources say the explosion of the walkie-talkies has caused concern in Iran because the ICOM devices are widely used by the military.
