Floorball: Finland meets Norway in the World Cup quarterfinals

Finland’s start against Norway was bad.

Finland the national floorball team rallied after a miserable start in the World Cup quarter-final against Norway.

The game clock had time to hit 32 seconds, when Norway Joachim Terjesen shook the ball from the center of the Finnish five.

In the very next change, Norway had a chance to double the lead, but Markus Laakso stretched out to tackle.

As the set progressed, Finland took control of the game. However, the shots bounced off the blankets, the side netting and the back wall.

Justus Kainulainen let the blue-whites out of torment in 12:52 and leveled the scores at 1-1 after a quick close-quarters pattern.

In the very next change, Kainulainen loaded the ball into the net from the front corner with an accurate shot.

In the last minute of the opening set, Finland increased their lead at the end of a beautiful composition. Ville Lastikka, promoted to the first chain, found Konsta Tykkyläinen sneaking up from the second wave with a precise cross pass. The defender flicked the ball into an almost empty pocket.

Finland went into the first break with a 3–1 lead.
