Stuttgart – That could have ended badly! On Friday, several chunks of a bridge at the Stuttgart motorway junction came loose and crashed onto the A 831. Experts are now checking other bridges nearby.

According to a spokeswoman for Autobahn GmbH, the pieces were up to ten centimeters in size and had probably come loose due to the weather, but were removed in time.
