Sad news for South Korean cinema. Actress Lee Joo-Sil, known in particular for her roles in the successful series “Squid Game” or even “Last train for Busan”, died Sunday at the age of 81.
According to information from the South Korean newspaper Chosun, the actress died of stomach cancer, who had been diagnosed a few months earlier. She had noticed a short time ago to have survived breast cancer, thirty years earlier.
