Cristina Santurino dies, a 36 -year -old ‘ultrarunner’

The Spanish long distance broker Cristina Santurino died at 36, for reasons for the moment unknown, in her residence on the Canary Island of El Hierro, two weeks after competing in the Alpine marathon of Zegama-Aizkorri (Guipúzcoa).

The Haka Sports Brand confirmed the death of its broker on Tuesday, on his birthday. “Today we have known the very trist news of the death of Cristina Santurino. A unique woman, who lived her dream and reached places she may never imagined,” he announced in his account of the social network ‘Instagram’.

“Today, on her birthday, we say goodbye to her with the conviction that her legacy will last in the heart of friends and family forever,” he added. Santurino had become popular among professionals and followers of the ‘ultrarunner’, also an expert in nutrition as a doctor in Food Sciences.
