Since the beginning of the war, more than 20 thousand claims have been filed for compensation for damage from shelling

Since the start of Operation Roar of the Lion, 20,157 property damage claims have been filed with the IRS Compensation Fund. 13,345 claims relate to damage to buildings, 2,000 to damage to the contents of houses and household goods, 4,377 to damage to cars, and another 435 claims relate to other types of damage.

Of the total number of claims filed, 16,530 are applications for which an appraiser has already visited the site and assessed the damage, or applications filed under an expedited procedure where a visit by an appraiser is not required. This represents 82% of the total number of claims.
