Fars: The IRGC warned of possible attacks on a number of targets in Beirut, Djibouti and Damascus

The Iranian Fars agency reported that the command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned of the possibility of attacks on a number of targets in the region, which are said to be used by the US military, as well as Israeli, American and British advisers and experts.

According to Fars, we are talking, in particular, about the old airport area of Beirut (Lebanon), Djibouti International Airport, the Four Seasons and Sheraton hotels, as well as the Republican Palace complex in Damascus.

The Iranian side claims that after attacks on American infrastructure in the Middle East, US military personnel allegedly began to use civilian facilities in Lebanon, Syria and Djibouti as deployment and coordination sites.

Fars also reported that the warning applies to any facilities where foreign military personnel are located.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that the US military had allegedly left bases in the Persian Gulf countries and was taking refuge in hotels and offices, using the civilian population as a “human shield”.
