Shakira adds eleven concerts in Madrid with the announcement of two new dates and sells 450,000 tickets in hours

Shakira has announced two new dates and has now added eleven concerts in Madrid for which she has sold 450,000 tickets in a few hours. Produced by Live Nation Spain, the European residency in Madrid will be held at the Shakira stadiuma temporary venue integrated into Iberdrola Music with capacity for more than 50,000 fans per night. Designed by the architecture studio Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), the Shakira stadium will introduce the international artistic residency format for the first time in Spain.

Ahead of the Madrid residency, Shakira will continue her 2026 tour with more dates, including a previously announced performance in Brazil this spring. She will be the main artist of the ‘Todo Mundo No Rio’ concert on Copacabana Beach, in Rio de Janeiro, on May 2.

The announcement comes after Shakira’s closing on the Mexican leg of the tour ‘Women No Longer Cry World Tour’where he brought together 400,000 fans for a free concert in the Zócalo on March 1, the largest crowd recorded in the city’s main public square according to authorities.

This concert occurred days after completing 13 concerts at the GNP Seguros Stadium, becoming the artist with the most performances at that venue during the same tour and selling more than 800,000 tickets on those dates.
