Nothing more. The double Olympic champion (2020 and 2024) arrived in Istanbul at the end of December 2024. He then left France and Poitiers for an adventure that ended after less than a year and a half in Turkey.

In Tours next season

Despite the elimination of the Turkish team in the quarter-finals of the CEV Cup – the second most important European competition – the end of the Istanbul season did not lack challenges. The now ex-partners of Ngapeth will play in the semi-finals of the Turkish Cup.

Last year, the Frenchman’s contribution was essential since he was elected MVP of the Final Four after a final marked by his 21 points scored. If Fenerbahçe has not provided any clue as to the reasons for this departure, the 35-year-old volleyball player will be able to plan the rest of his career.

Ngapeth will return to the French Championship next season. His arrival in Tours for two years had already been announced beforehand by the club currently at the top of the first division.
