Ladbergen: 10 tons of chocolate and pastries stolen from truck trailer

Ladbergen – Brazen thieves struck in Münsterland. Their loot: almost 10,000 kilograms of chocolate and pastries. The perpetrators stole a truck trailer from his company location in Ladbergen.

On Saturday night, the perpetrators got to work and stole the trailer along with the sweet loot. They may have used a Volvo semi-trailer truck.

GPS led to the empty shell

The next day, investigators tracked down the trailer using GPS – on an embankment not far from the crime scene. But the sweet cargo had disappeared. The perpetrators had apparently transferred the goods to another truck and then fled. The value of the loot: a mid-five-digit euro amount.

The police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the perpetrators or their whereabouts Chocolate can give.
