Israel is preparing to create a buffer zone in the southern part of Lebanon.
Israel Defense Minister Israel Katz announced this today. According to the minister, at the end of the military operation in Lebanon, the Israeli army will control the area up to the Litani River and all the bridges on that river, “not allowing the Radwan armed group, which is part of Hezbollah, to operate in this area.”
According to Katz, 600,000 civilians displaced as a result of military operations will not be allowed to return to their homes, and all the houses on the border will be “destroyed just like it happened in the Gaza Strip.”
