Dr. Tuho flashes a drastic solution to the Iranian crisis

Economist and economics professor known by the nickname Dr. Tuho Nouriel Roubini estimated that a decisive escalation of hostilities could force Iran to capitulate.

Roubini spoke to the reporter and host of the news agency Bloomberg David Inglesille at the Greenwich Economic Forum in Hong Kong on Monday.

According to Roubin, the basic problem is that going to war was a mistake on the part of the United States in this situation, because the consequences were not adequately prepared. President Donald Trump desperately longing for a way to resolve the conflict.

According to Roubin, the problem of withdrawing from the war for the United States is that, in the current situation, Iran would have a permanent opportunity to disrupt the energy market through the Strait of Hormuz and continue its nuclear program.

“It would be a strategic disaster,” says Roubini.

He presents a horror scenario of a stalemate, where hostilities have ended, but the parties cannot reach a proper agreement and the price of crude oil would rise to as much as 150–200 dollars per barrel.

According to Roubin, the United States could bring down the Iranian regime relatively quickly by launching a larger-scale ground attack.

So far, Trump has been reluctant to expose American troops to the danger of a ground attack.

Roubini got his nickname when he predicted the financial crisis that started in 2008. He is known for his pessimistic economic forecasts, in which he warns of global economic crises, inflation and debt problems.
