STOCK EXCHANGE: The Helsinki stock exchange continues to melt away the bullishness

On Thursday, the strong bullish period that started at the end of March was dissolved in the Helsinki Stock Exchange. In the afternoon, the general index was almost unchanged from the previous day’s closing reading at 13,317.91 points.

In the most traded stocks Nordea was down 1.1 percent, while Nokia was up 0.2 percent. The machine the stock fell 0.2 percent.

At the top of the rise were a consulting company Digitalist 19.5 percent increase and focused on glass processing technology Glaston 15.7 percent up. Engineering works Keslan the share rose 13.2 percent

In terms of business news, Thursday was quiet. A trading company Kesko (+3.2%) announced its sales figures for March. The company’s sales grew by a comparable 9.7 percent.

By segment, the sale of daily goods grew by 11.3 percent to 585.4 million euros, the sales of construction and building technology increased by 8.9 percent to 470 million euros, and the car trade by 5.7 percent to 125.2 million euros.

“In the grocery store, sales development was positively affected by the timing of the Easter wholesale sale mainly in March. In the construction and building technology trade, sales increased both in the hardware store and in the technical trade. In the car trade, sales increased in used cars and services, but decreased in new cars,” said Kesko’s CEO Jorma Rauhala in the company’s announcement.

Serial combiner Relais Group said he would buy 100 percent Norwegian Service Express ASof shares from the company’s entrepreneurial owners.

SE is located near Bergen in western Norway and offers maintenance, calibration and spare parts services for repair equipment.

SE will be reported as part of Relais Group from the beginning of April 2026 and will be included in the group’s Technical Wholesale business area. Shopping will be a part AutoMaterial– repair shop equipment business.

In the fiscal year ending in December 2025, SE’s turnover was NOK 28.6 million and the adjusted operating profit was approximately NOK 5.0 million. NOK 9.9 million of the purchase price will be paid with Relais Group shares. The entire purchase price was not disclosed in the announcement.

The board of Relais will make a separate share issue decision.

Relais shares were down 1.0 percent on Thursday.
