After uncovering one alleged prostitution ring in the Milan party scene The public prosecutor’s investigation is in full swing. Consistent media reports are also one of them long list of professional footballers in focus. Dozens of names can be found on it as so-called key words in a search warrant from the Milan investigators. At the center are four suspects who have been under house arrest since Monday. According to the public prosecutor’s office, assets worth more than 1.2 million euros were also seized. The investigations focus, among other things, on suspicion of promoting and exploiting prostitution and money laundering.
Witnesses are being heard
The authorities are currently evaluating confiscated phones and data storage devices and interviewing witnesses to clarify the scope and structure of the suspected network. It will also be investigated whether participants in the events used paid sexual services. According to media reports, laughing gas was also consumed at individual meetings.
